The design of this rug is wonderful and exactly as I’d hoped it would be. The edges were a bit sharp with a few slivers when I unpacked it, probably due to the nature of the rug’s material, but that seemed a short term problem. The rug arrived packaged very well (very compact and manageable), and did not even require any airing out (though I tried to air it given the travel it had sustained). However, it arrived far later than promised (the order promised 5-7 days, it actually took approximately 2.5 months), so they should more properly account for overseas purchases in their estimates. I also received an unexpected bill from FedEx for de minimIs customs duties/taxes/clearance fees (unclear which), so that was a minor but unpleasant surprise. However, this rug was priced far better on this website than it was at the American furniture store Arhaus, and even then Arhaus was unable to complete the sale because they were having trouble obtaining the rug from their vendors post-order for whatever reason. So all in all, I’d recommend buying from this website so long as you remain aware of the facts noted above which may apply to your purchase.
